Cesarean Scar Self-Massage + Mobilization

In this class we will gather as birthers to connect and help heal from cesarean scar tissue through meditation, breathe work and self-massage. When fascia is disrupted from surgical incision, it grows like a spider web, adhering to other tissues and organs and preventing tissues from being mobile. Some of the most common issues that fascial adhesions cause are: low back pain, pelvic pain, and pain with intercourse.

We can optimize mobility and prevent adhesions through techniques that Veronica will guide you through. You will have the option to turn your camera off during the self-massage portion of class.

Class will begin with introductions and optional sharing as we hold space for one another through the waves that can potentially come up in this class. Veronica will provide a list of resources like therapists and PT’s if you discover you need outside help.

If you are postpartum, please wait until you are 6 weeks pp to join.

The scar tissue mobilization techniques can be used no matter how long its been since you gave birth.
