Somatic Trauma Resolution

Waking Womb’s Proprietary Programs (Soma School/Soma Seasons)

Soma School is specifically designed for women who want to understand why their nervous system responds the way it does — and how to build capacity without force, urgency, or bypassing. Our programs focus in trauma training (not only trauma informed) in somatics for the female nervous system. We offer experiential education, which means you will be actively embodying and integrating everything you learn in class, leaving with practical, long-lasting tools and practices to support you for a lifetime.

Soma School is especially supportive if you’ve:

  • Done “a lot of inner work” but still feel stuck or overwhelmed

  • Struggle with cycles of shutdown, anxiety, or people-pleasing

  • Want tools that are practical, embodied, and rooted in safety

  • Are longing to trust your body — and your relational instincts — again

In our programs you will:

  • Understand stress and safety patterns and apply practices that support true regulation—not override or push through.

The Female Nervous System

Practices for resilience and regulation

There is a unique architecture to the female nervous system that, when integrated with somatics, can amplify nervous system resilience. Embracing, balancing, and tending to the physiological complexity of your female nervous system will open the floodgates of your experience, sexuality included.

Join somatic trauma resolution instructor, Veronica Rottman, and somatic experiencing practitioner, Diana May, for a program that offers an in-depth look into how we can optimize regulation for the female nervous system through yoga.

Through daily yoga, journaling, and somatic practices to optimize your mental and physical well-being, you will:

  • Gain a comprehensive education on the female nervous system.

  • Understand how you can tailor your yoga practice to increase nervous system resilience.

  • Learn the latest research on this topic, including how it relates to the menstrual cycle, perimenopause, and menopause.

  • Support your female nervous system’s vitality with tools other than the ones based on the male body or standard nervous system education.

  • Restore a healthy sex drive and experience of pleasure.

  • Embody what you learn.

This program centers on the power of somatics through which transformation is digestible and sustainable. Return home with more fluency in the language of your body.
