Our body holds the map to our healing, and gaining fluency in the language of your soma, your nervous system, empowers you at a root-cause level to expand your life and level up your capacity. This work is highly effective when integrated with coaching, therapy, bodywork, functional medicine, business coaching, energy + spiritual work, yoga, birth work, physical therapy, group work, parenting, eco-somatics, and most modalities that center healing, personal growth, and more.
When we heal in community we nourish our bodies with coregulatory power that amplifies our ability to heal. We are often taught that it’s all up to us to make the healing happen as individuals when actually, our bodies are starved for the essential ingredient of coregulation, or the impact of other nervous systems. Women heal through tending and befriending, this coregulation is especially vital to our ability to thrive.
Soma School PLUS is as much about unlearning as it is about learning, as we will spend time uprooting what we’ve internalized that holds us back from becoming embodied beings.
Our body, our nervous system, drives our thoughts, our emotions, and choices. When we become embodied we gain the the ability to engage with our default patterns versus letting them control us.
