Birth work can be very rewarding, but with anything that is highly rewarding comes a lot of selflessness, grit, and potential for burn out.
Self-care doesn’t have to be limited to our free time, in fact it needs to be integrated into our work as well. Especially if our work entails staying fully present to the needs of others and working on call.
In this workshop you will learn yoga, breathe work and meditation techniques to keep you and your clients more balanced, present, and healthy. You deserve to create a self-care routine that makes birth work more enjoyable, sustainable and ultimately fills your cup enough so that you can give the best care to your clients. In this workshop we will learn:
Grounding techniques for before, during, and after each birth
Access to yoga sequences that keep your body, mind and heart more balanced and well
Breath work for energy, clarity, and grounding (that can be used during births that you attend)
Meditation techniques
