Cyclical Movement: optimal exercise patterns for cyclical empowerment

Most of us have been taught that our exercise patterns should be the same everyday regardless of intensity or style. This is due to a major lack of exercise science research on the female body, and the pressure from diet and fitness culture to adhere to arbitrary beauty standards that are no measure of well being.

In this class students will learn about recent research that shows;
-We aren’t meant to do the same workout/exercise everyday of our cycle and why

-Our hormonal health depends on changing our movement patterns to support our body’s fluctuations

-Doing intense workouts at certain phases of our cycle actually depletes us of nutrients, hydration and turns fat storage ON

-At certain phases of our cycle, we have higher chances of injuring ourselves due to the hormone relaxin

After diving into the information behind synching our exercise routine with our cycle, Veronica will teach a yoga class that reflects the pattern we need to follow for each phase.
